Hi! I have previous past letters with longer likes lists that still hold true, so, feel free to peruse my past Fic in a Box letters for generalities or any past letters with applicable fandoms, though please be aware of my current DNWs. Due to time constraints, much of this is copy-pasted from past letters. All of the fandom specific stuff is copy-pasted from my AO3 sign up.

I really do want all of my requests. If one section is longer than another, it's due to how much I had to say or available to copy-paste, not an indication that I want the request more. All of my prompts are just ideas for if you need a place to start; I'd also be really happy with something running with my likes.

I'm open to treats, including art for Wrapping Paper.

Hi! I love all of the fandoms and characters I'm requesting, so if something is longer or shorter than its counterparts, it's due to how much I had to say, not how much I love the request.

If you've written or drawn for me before, my listed likes and DNWs have changed a bit (and are changing from exchange to exchange), so please make sure you're looking at the right letter or are looking at the AO3 requests.

As ever and always, I would like to emphasize, please don't feel obligated to read this letter in its entirety (or at all!). If you already have an idea of what you want to do from just the AO3 requests, go for it! This is all to (I hope) make it easier on you, and I am a big believer in optional details being optional. There being works for my faves will make me happy. Everything else is icing on delicious, delicious cake.

If I flub the letter writing and editing process and mention something in my letter that is not on AO3 and in my sign-ups or if I phrase something poorly, I'd also like to emphasize that that's on me and you're free to pretend you didn't see it (or to ask the mods if you're still concerned). Hello, and thank you for writing for one of these fandoms! I'm tuesday on AO3.

If you have signed up to write any of these in the past and checked out all the letters, I may look familiar. I tend to request many of the same things over and over again, and for that very reason, my letter is usually a long, lumbering copy-paste monster of a thing. This year, I'm trying something a little different and not really including prompts, but feel free to check out my past enthused ramblings about each of my requested fandoms and characters, including four genres of prompts (gen, horror, shippy, explicit) and promos for each fandom if you want to try something completely new. I've updated my likes a little bit, and each fandom section is a bit to much shorter than years previous.

They are all fandoms of my heart, and I'm excited at the possibility of receiving any of them.

A note: If we matched on Dwarf Fortress, you may notice I've received Dwarf Fortress fic in Yuletides past. Please don't feel like you have to compete with them! I love DF a lot, and there is not a lot out there for it, so while I love everything I've received so far, I'm sure whatever you write me will be a delight to me, too!

(Spine Doctor). If you're really not feeling the request you matched on, here's hoping you know one of the others! They're all fairly short games and all available on Steam. They're also (in my fairly biased opinion) all lots of fun!

I'm happy with gen or romance. If you go the romance route, I'm good with f/f, f/m, m/m, poly, and ace.

I like both long and short fic, so go where the story leads you!

A list of tropes and themes I adore include AUs (modern, regency, historic, magic, college, cyberpunk, steampunk, canon divergence, everyone lives, end of the world, all the AUs), arranged marriage & marriage of convenience, soulbonds & soulmates, pining, first times, apocalypse, worldbuilding, friends to lovers, IN SPACE, family, found family, friendship, political machinations, intrigue, time travel, mysteries, time loops, didn't know they're dating, magic, ghosts, shenanigans, drunken shenanigans, woke up married, prank wars, wooing, extended courtships, whirlwind romance, political negotiations, alliances of convenience, training, slice of life, character study, plot, pwp, developing relationships/friendships, character has the chance to re-do/relive events, aliens, robots, mermaids, monsters, dragons, reincarnation, pregnancy/adoption/kid fic, matchmaking, mysteries, isolation, trapped together, comedy of errors, competence, communication, codas, future fic, fusions - this list could go on forever, so I'll finally stop myself here.

Feel free to go as dark or fluffy or creepy or cracked out as your heart desires. I'd prefer a happy, hopeful, bittersweet, or ray of light in the distance ending, even if it's just a where there's life there's hope situation.

DNWs:

Literally the only things that could keep me from reading a gift fic are non-con and rapeplay.

Because I listed AUs above, I feel like I should mention there are AUs I'm just not into anymore (though I have enjoyed some fic with them in the past) - slavery, serial killer, mafia, prison, and sex worker AUs.

I'm not really into infidelity (poly or marriage only as an arrangement is fine! I just prefer everyone involved to know and be okay with what's going on), underage (sixteen or up is fine), incest (my exceptions are not in any of these fandoms), or eye trauma.

As said above, I'd like even my unhappy endings to come with a grain of hope, so please no permanent major character death unless otherwise indicated. I'll go into this more (including talk of canon character deaths) in each fandom section, though I'll note here that there are options for where I'll happily roll with some character death in three of the four fandoms.
