Hi! I have previous past letters with likes lists and prompts that still hold true, so feel free to peruse old letters, though please be aware of my current DNWs and requests.

What I've written and what I want as a gift can differ, so for best results, please rely on my likes and DNWs over what you may find on my AO3 works page.

This letter is A Lot due to having years and years of material to copy-paste from for my general likes, etc. I'm taking advantage of how Chocolate Box is set up to request a single fandom I'm excited for, and if a work has my requested relationship and medium, so long as it avoids my DNWs, I will be very happy! This is just to give my creator a ton of direction for things I do like and some optional prompts if my creator wants them. You can skip to the things you think will be relevant in the letter, or the whole letter entirely.

I like all ratings for fic, from General Audiences to Explicit.

I'm open to any length, from just over the minimum to sprawling epics (and under the min for treats).

I like both traditional fic and non-traditional and experimental formats, including interactive fiction, Choose Your Own Adventure, epistolary, in universe documents, and multimedia. I like past and present tense. I generally prefer third person (especially consistent third person limited where POV shift only happens in scene breaks or doesn't happen at all) or a match to canon (which in some cases is going to be first or second) or a match to the standards of the form (e.g. first person for epistolary, letters, and journals; second person for CYOA and IF).

(For DCC, I'm very happy to receive first person Carl POV!)

Art Likes

I am open to any rating for art, but please note my art DNWs that would especially apply for explicit art.

I especially like character expressions and things that set mood (color, body language, composition, etc), as well as scenery. I also like details in clothing, jewelry, and hairstyles and hair ribbons and fancy hair pieces where appropriate (e.g. fancy weddings including fancy clothes).

I really enjoy settings, background, and other details, so if you're like, "Oh, no, is this extra detail unwanted?" the answer will always be no, please give it to me. On the flip side, please don't feel like you have to go super in depth to please me. I'm sure I will be happy wherever you end up on the spectrum.

Some non-explicit poses I especially like for ships are:

For art based on live action series, I'm less concerned about the characters looking exactly like the actors and more about them being recognizable/capturing the feeling of the characters. Same for other types of canons, too, really. I'm not the right audience for more abstract works that require the viewer reading into the work or ones that require extrapolation on the viewer's part, as I'll admit I'm terrible at that, but otherwise, if the style you want to use differs from the style of canon, I'd be happy to see what you come up with. For any canon, I'd be happy with whatever your style is, something in the style of canon, or something in the style of another canon if that sounds like fun for you!

• Noncon, rape play, or fear of rape. Deliberately engineered situations that might otherwise be dubcon. (Dubcon arising of an accident like "you weren't supposed to get into the sex pollen" or "wow, that choice to become a new race sure did come with heats and ruts" or "the decision to have sex with your enemy is prooooooobably influenced by the fact you're an omega in heat": fine.)

DNW Clarifications and Explications:

Comas and unrequested real life serious illness: Weird confined to canon stuff like Without a Cure, qi deviations, or chakra exhaustion are fine. Cancer is not.

Gender-related dysphoria: Dysphoria unrelated to gender is fine. I'm good with body horror, but if someone transmigrates into an AFAB body from an AMAB one or vice versa (or something else where gender dysphoria can crop up), I don't want descriptions of their discomfort with their new chest or genitalia or signs that their gender identity is a reason this experience is distressing for them. Discomfort over things like the body being the wrong height or the arms being shorter or other things that could be the same whether male or female are fine. "This is weird, but I'm rolling with it" is fine. "I have breasts now and I'm actively distraught over it" is not a good fit for a gift for me.

Trans characters existing without any reference to them experiencing dysphoria is fine (as are references to binding, tucking, and other things that I have room to read as to do with presentation alone).

I'm fine with pregnancy experienced as body horror in mpreg, but in that case, please still avoid active distress over developing breast tissue/anything in the chest area, and please heed the pregnancy of trans men DNW.

Pregnancy of trans men: To be as clear as possible, this DNW is for pregnancy of people who were assigned female at birth but identify as men. So long as my other DNWs are followed, I'm fine with things like people changing around their own body, including their reproductive systems, with magic or by other means to try to make mpreg possible; trans women or nonbinary people getting pregnant; or male transmigrators getting pregnant (whether it's because they fell into an omegaverse world, men can just get pregnant in this world, or they ended up in a female body (in which in this one case, yes, you can mpreg a newly trans man, though please heed the gender-related dysphoria DNW)).

Noncon, rape play, or fear of rape. Deliberately engineered situations that might otherwise be dubcon: For a few years, I took dubcon off the table for gift works for me, but I think my current DNWs cover what I'm trying to avoid. I don't want anyone thinking what's happening to them or what they're doing/have done is rape or anything heavily implying that. I don't want someone deliberately engineering a situation making it so that someone is in a fuck or die situation. I don't want sex to be traumatic for anyone. I don't want something that even starts as noncon (no no-no-yes). I don't want people actively coerced into having sex. However, sex due to impaired judgment or sex in a relationship with an inherent power imbalance is fine. Dubcon arising of an accident like "you weren't supposed to get into the sex pollen" or "wow, that choice to become a new race sure did come with heats and ruts" or "the decision to have sex with your sort-of enemy who's in love with you is prooooooobably influenced by the fact you're an omega in heat": also fine. Canon-typical coercion for not-sex-but-sexual-for-one-party things are also okay for DCC. You do not need to give Carl pants or shoes.

Memory issues related to sex: Memory issues unrelated to sex are fine.

Infidelity for the requested ship etc.: Poly is fine. I don't want anyone confused on the fact that it is poly, not cheating.

In general, my major concern is to avoid a) definitely cheating in any direction, b) something in which one part of the ship thinks the other part is in a closed relationship and that's what the main ship is engaging in, c) something in which one half of a closed relationship believes the other is cheating on them and we the audience are likely to also think that's what's going on and which comprises a major, ongoing part of the work as opposed to something brief and mistaken.

References to canon infidelity are fine.

Underage (under 18) sex: References to teenagers being sexually active in teenager-typical ways is fine, but I'd rather not get explicit sex scenes.

Adult/currently-a-minor relationships: Aging up so everyone is over 18 is fine. Relationships between two people roughly the same age is fine, like a 17 and 19 year old. References to minors having unrequited crushes on adults is fine (though in that case, again, I'd rather not have that unrequited crush be a major focus). For scenarios in which two adults knew each other when one was a minor, I'd prefer not to have direct references to the possibility that anything could've happened then, even if it's to emphasize that the younger adult is an adult now.

Anal tearing or bleeding: Dry sex and using things that aren't lube as lubricant (e.g. semen or spit) going by porn logic is fine so long as there's no damage from it.

Women on the receiving end of anal: If women are having anal sex, I want them to be on the giving end only (so f->m pegging is fine).

Contract or 24/7 BDSM or use of the word "master" in a sexual context: Mentioning this because I have a lot of BDSM-related or adjacent likes. It wouldn't ruin my night or fic, but I'm not super into the formalized contract thing or it being the focus of a relationship/what the relationship is primarily about, and I don't want to accidentally set any traps for my author. I'm fine with and enjoy non-formalized play, with people having fun with pain, bondage, some power dynamics (e.g. characters addressing each other by title), etc.

Painplay as a punishment or unintended and/or unwelcome sexual arousal from a punishment or torture: If someone's getting spanked, I want it to be because they want it. If someone's getting tortured, I don't want it to be sexual.

On-screen naked clearly visible dicks in art gifts: Please hide the dicks in some way, whether that's in water that isn't very clear so you can only see a vague outline, through angling, inside the other person (the base/beginning of a dick going into someone being visible is fine), a conveniently placed house plant or thigh, everything but the base/bottom inch being hidden by someone's hand, partially clothed sex—it doesn't matter to me so long as the head isn't visible and most of it is hidden. Again, this DNW is for art only. (I have commented on and liked many works that would hit this DNW, but DNWing the specifics of what I'm actually trying to avoid isn't really feasible, so even though there's only a 10% chance of getting something that would guarantee I disliked the gift, we're throwing the metaphorical baby out with the bathwater.)

Dungeon Crawler Carl

Carl/System AI

For general DNWs, please see above, but DCC specific DNWs are as follows:

• Carl smushing small creatures (stomping big creatures: fine; references to the near-acceleration, etc.: fine; on-screen smushing of gerbils, etc. or focus on past small creature smushing: please avoid).
• Permanent character death for named crawlers or former crawlers still alive as of the end of the 9th floor, the AI, or Zev. (Temporary character death where the character is on-screen alive at the end of the work is welcome!)
• Death of common pet-type creatures. (Cats, dogs, hamsters, gerbils, etc. Fish being eaten is fine.)
• Deaths of other animals that would cause sapients grief (killing livestock and non-pet-type wild animals: fine if no one is sad over it; animals sapient beings are attached to: please let Prepotente's siblings be safe).
• Patreon/Book 8 spoilers.
• Carl having sex with the AI in an avatar that has another soul/person along for the ride.
• Donut sex unless it's off-screen with Ferdinand. Donut is my favorite, and she deserves everything she wants, but not in a gift for me.

All of the death-related DNWs above makes it look like I'm not into character death, but what it boils down to is: I'd like the remaining crawlers I'm fond of, Zev, and the AI to ultimately survive. I love temporary character death, but I'd like them to be on-screen alive in the end. I don't want to be sad over pets dying or sympathetically sad over other animals dying.

I love and respect everyone who sees this ship in a noncon context, but that is not what I'm hoping for from a gift, so I hope that my requests here give you enough room to work with if you fall into that category!

As a general note, while I tend to use "it" or "they" for the AI, I am open to receiving a gift with "he" pronouns used for the AI instead.

Completely optional fic prompts (I would seriously be happy with anything avoiding my DNWs, and doubly happy with something focused on one or more of my likes listed above):

• The AI and Carl end up working together. Carl discovers that in this case, the enemy of his enemy is in fact his friend and is able to get the AI on side not just for overthrowing the Syndicate (I think the AI is there!) but also on the side of saving his fellow crawlers along the way. And once Carl is working with the AI, once they're on the same side, he discovers that he actually kind of … likes the AI? He is still automatically engaging in survival flirting with the AI, but it's not survival flirting anymore? Oh, no, the AI/its avatar is kind of hot when it's plotting with him to overthrow the Syndicate?
• Carl choosing to seduce the AI for reasons.
• An AU in which the AI went out into the world pre-collapse and ends up dating and/or having sex with Carl.
• Time travel AU in which Carl decides he is going to seduce the AI and get it in on this revolution thing early even if it means he has to duct tape his legs and lovingly drag his feet down the dungeon wall.
• The AI actually does try to warn Carl about the sex pollen field, but he does not listen because going into the sex pollen field will help him accomplish his goals/he didn't read the description/whatever, and Carl decides that if he has to fuck someone to make this go away faster (waiting it out means losing more time), he's not going to impose on a fellow crawler—he's going to make it the AI's problem. "Come down and fuck me, you coward."
• Time travel AU in which the AI seals off Earth, steals the crawl, and just before it does, it sends information packets that end up basically blowing up Syndicate space/waking the Eulogist who is not happy/whatever thing will keep the Syndicate too preoccupied to care about what Earth's doing. The AI is still considering whether it wants to have its own crawl, a better crawl, and also maybe exploring the Earth in some avatar bodies, when it runs into Carl in one of those avatar bodies and gets sidetracked.
• Soulmate AU in which your mark is what your soulmate wants to be called by you. Carl knew from the time his soulmark appeared that his soulmate was into daddy kink. He had no idea that was the least of his problems.
• Missing scene/character study POV from the AI in which it thinks about being in love with Carl. (Most people who are familiar with my past requests will know that unrequited love was usually a DNW, but I'm fine with receiving canon compliant AI -> Carl, though admittedly significantly less interested if it's an AU.)
• Carl flirting with the AI to distract it for the purposes of a plan, and it working really, really well.

Completely optional art prompts (again, I would seriously be happy with anything avoiding my DNWs, and doubly happy with something focused on one or more of my likes listed above):

Because a lot of my likes can overlap with appearing like they could be noncon when depicted as art, I want to be clear: if you don't tag it as noncon and don't have Carl saying, "No," or otherwise do something to make it clear it's not play, I will be happy to view all art as consensual. I also promise that while most of my ideas here are spicy, I am perfectly happy to receive a SFW AI/Carl art gift!

• The AI using a hard light hand to hold Carl's hand.
• Carl with his hand pressed against the dungeon wall, saying, "Okay. Okay. Let's do this." (A relationship? Tearing down the Syndicate together? The ambiguity is a plus for me!)
• Carl depicted as one of those paper dress-up dolls with always bare feet for the costumes and the implication this is the AI playing dress-up with its favorite crawler.
• Carl with his legs taped by duct tape, rubbing his feet sensuously against the dungeon wall, going, "Happy anniversary, asshole >:(" (Don't worry, he likes it, too.) (Or maybe he's blushing instead of looking mad about it.)
• The AI using Carl's first floor body as an avatar to kiss him.
• Carl with his wrists chained above his head, hanging from the ceiling, down to his boxers and jewelry, hands chained above his head, toes just barely able to touch the dungeon floor, while hands do things like tweak one nipple, pull a nipple ring, cup him through the boxers, push inside his mouth and hook behind his teeth, tug at his earlobes, pet and/or pull at his hair, only allow one foot's toes to touch the floor because two hands are giving his other foot a footrub, or whatever else you can think of the AI doing to him, all as he looks devastatingly into it.
• Illustration of any of my AI/Carl fic on AO3 or my AI/Carl fic ideas on the DFS server, including but not limited to:
