Hi! I have previous past letters with likes lists and prompts that still hold true, so feel free to peruse old letters, though please be aware of my current DNWs and requests. Some of these are fandoms I have requested in the past, please feel free to check out my fandom tags on the sidebar and see if there's anything in past letters you think might apply! I'm super excited for any of these fandoms, and I hope you'll have a lot of fun creating for the one you've chosen.

I'm open to any length, from just over the minimum to sprawling epics (and under the min for treats).

I like both traditional fic and non-traditional and experimental formats, including interactive fiction, Choose Your Own Adventure, epistolary, in universe documents, and multimedia. I like past and present tense. I generally prefer third person (especially consistent third person limited where POV shift only happens in scene breaks or doesn't happen at all) or a match to canon (which in some cases is going to be first or second) or a match to the standards of the form (e.g. first person for epistolary, letters, and journals; second person for CYOA and IF).

• Focus on the things that did/might have happened to Johnny's mother in House of Leaves.
• Rimworld colonies participating in/perpetuating slavery in Rimworld. (References to colonists having been slaves is fine. Terrible treatment of prisoners/organ farms/blood farms are fine. Recruitment of prisoners who become regular colonists is fine. Prisoners being enslaved, use of slave labor, and focus on full-scale slavery options is what I am trying to avoid here.)

DNW Clarifications and Explications:

Comas and unrequested real life serious illness: Weird confined to canon stuff like Without a Cure, qi deviations, or chakra exhaustion are fine. Cancer is not.

Gender-related dysphoria: Dysphoria unrelated to gender is fine. I'm good with body horror, but if someone transmigrates into an AFAB body from an AMAB one or vice versa (or something else where gender dysphoria can crop up), I don't want descriptions of their discomfort with their new chest or genitalia or signs that their gender identity is a reason this experience is distressing for them. Discomfort over things like the body being the wrong height or the arms being shorter or other things that could be the same whether male or female are fine. "This is weird, but I'm rolling with it" is fine. "I have breasts now and I'm actively distraught over it" is not a good fit for a gift for me.

Trans characters existing without any reference to them experiencing dysphoria is fine (as are references to binding, tucking, and other things that I have room to read as to do with presentation alone).

I'm fine with pregnancy experienced as body horror in mpreg, but in that case, please still avoid active distress over developing breast tissue/anything in the chest area, and please heed the pregnancy of trans men DNW.

Pregnancy of trans men: To be as clear as possible, this DNW is for pregnancy of people who were assigned female at birth but identify as men. So long as my other DNWs are followed, I'm fine with things like people changing around their own body, including their reproductive systems, with magic or by other means to try to make mpreg possible; trans women or nonbinary people getting pregnant; or male transmigrators getting pregnant (whether it's because they fell into an omegaverse world, men can just get pregnant in this world, or they ended up in a female body (in which in this one case, yes, you can mpreg a newly trans man, though please heed the gender-related dysphoria DNW)).

Dubcon, noncon, rapeplay. Sexual harassment or menacing: In the past, I've been fine with (and liked) a lot of dubcon, but I currently don't want any. In the case of anything that could be taken in a dub- or noncon direction, I want the consensual version only.

Memory issues related to sex: Memory issues unrelated to sex are fine.

Infidelity etc.: Poly is fine. I don't want anyone confused on the fact that it is poly, not cheating.

In general, my major concern is to avoid a) definitely cheating in any direction, b) something in which one part of the ship thinks the other part is in a closed relationship and that's what the main ship is engaging in, c) something in which one half of a closed relationship believes the other is cheating on them and we the audience are likely to also think that's what's going on and which comprises a major, ongoing part of the work as opposed to something brief and mistaken.

References to canon infidelity are fine.

Focus on unrequited love: For pining for requested ships, characters can think it is unrequited, but I would like them to be wrong. References to things as they stand at whatever point in canon are fine in canons where unrequited love comes up, but I'd rather not get a fic entirely about a character being sad that their love is a one way street and ending up alone unless explicitly requested. That said, if I have included a parenthetical with this DNW that lists unrequited ships I am fine to get a work centered around (probably a vid if history is anything to judge), then I absolutely mean it, and pay attention to what I said there over what I've said here.

Underage (under 18) sex: References to teenagers being sexually active in teenager-typical ways is fine, but I'd rather not get explicit sex scenes.

Adult/currently-a-minor relationships: Aging up so everyone is over 18 is fine. Relationships between two people roughly the same age is fine, like a 17 and 19 year old. References to minors having unrequited crushes on adults is fine (though in that case, again, I'd rather not have that unrequited crush be a major focus). For scenarios in which two adults knew each other when one was a minor, I'd prefer not to have direct references to the possibility that anything could've happened then, even if it's to emphasize that the younger adult is an adult now.

Anal tearing or bleeding: Dry sex and using things that aren't lube as lubricant (e.g. semen or spit) going by porn logic is fine so long as there's no damage from it.

Women on the receiving end of anal: If women are having anal sex, I want them to be on the giving end only (so f->m pegging is fine).

Contract or 24/7 BDSM or use of the word "master" in a sexual context: Mentioning this because I have a lot of BDSM-related or adjacent likes. It wouldn't ruin my night or fic, but I'm not super into the formalized contract thing or it being the focus of a relationship/what the relationship is primarily about, and I don't want to accidentally set any traps for my author. I'm fine with and enjoy non-formalized play, with people having fun with pain, bondage, some power dynamics (e.g. characters addressing each other by title), etc.

Painplay as a punishment or unintended and/or unwelcome sexual arousal from a punishment or torture: If someone's getting spanked, I want it to be because they want it. If someone's getting tortured, I don't want it to be sexual.

On-screen naked clearly visible dicks in art gifts: Please hide the dicks in some way, whether that's in water that isn't very clear so you can only see a vague outline, through angling, inside the other person (the base/beginning of a dick going into someone being visible is fine), a conveniently placed house plant or thigh, everything but the base/bottom inch being hidden by someone's hand, partially clothed sex—it doesn't matter to me so long as the head isn't visible and most of it is hidden. Again, this DNW is for art only. (I have commented on and liked many works that would hit this DNW, but DNWing the specifics of what I'm actually trying to avoid isn't really feasible, so even though there's only a 10% chance of getting something that would guarantee I disliked the gift, we're throwing the metaphorical baby out with the bathwater.)

Requested Fandoms

Dwarf Fortress

Requested character(s): Worldbuilding (Dwarf Fortress)

Want to write a story based on one of your games? A particular mechanic you love? Something diving into the sorts of worlds DF creates? A bit of history generated in one of your world states? Something else? I'm 100% here for it.

I want to emphasize that while I'd love gen for this fandom, I'd also be happy with ships between any sentient humanoid characters for DF, including original characters.

Things I like about this canon and general canon promotion:

Dwarf Fortress is a (free!) simulation game with a steep learning curve, but a huge pay-off in highly entertaining emergent story-telling and weird dwarven decisions. This can include anything from new mothers in the military taking their babies into battle to use as shields to tantrum-throwing dwarves (upset that their babies are now full of arrows) destroying the whole fortress and killing everyone in it by hitting the lever to your "magma solves everything" doomsday device.

Losing is fun!

I will never not love this game. When I first started playing it, it was a very different game than it is now, but it has only gotten better. I have embraced the mantra that losing is fun, discovered all the hidden fun stuff, and even managed attempts at mega projects and tried my hand at silly dwarf tricks. (Few survived the first several attempts at a magma-fall through the main dining room, but those few left were delighted at how neat it looked! … For however long they lived after the ensuing grief stricken tantrum spiral. Apparently a magma fountain can only do so much.)

Whatever you choose, I'm excited for any kind of worldbuilding about this canon, whether you focus on a particular world, dwarven culture, other races, adventurers, necromancers, forgotten beasts, lore, stupid dwarf tricks, past nonsense players got up to that Toady took away—whatever strikes your fancy to explore, I'm here for it.

House of Leaves

Requested character(s): The House on Ash Tree Lane

My favorite part of the novel was the house. I would be delighted with fic focused only on the house, with no metafiction, or with some sort of metafiction so long as the house remains a major focus, too. I'd be happy with both events happening as in canon or AUs.

Some optional prompts I would enjoy:

• Maybe The Navidson Record exists and there's controversy over the people who are convinced it's a documentary and those who believe it's just a horror movie.
• Maybe a new family moves into the house!
• Maybe someone else finds Zampanò's manuscript, but the events within the book have changed! Maybe something with Zampanò writing the manuscript! Maybe something else entirely!
• I'd love to see more exploration of the house itself
• Something from the house's point of view if it's sentient
• Someone getting lost in the house
• Tom surviving and wandering the house's labyrinth hopelessly lost
• Or, well, pretty much anything house-related.

Feel free to bring in whatever canon characters you please or however many original characters you wish. I'm excited for it all! I would be pleased with any level of happy ending to hopeless despair.

RED (Movies)

Requested character(s): Han Cho Bai, Victoria Winslow

I absolutely ship this, so if you do, too, I'd love ship fic. If you would prefer to write gen, I'd also enjoy something canon-typical with both of them, as I love both characters separately and together. I would like both characters featured in whatever work I receive. I have a ton of likes above I'd love to see explored, but I've included some actual prompts below if you'd like more specific direction for this particular fandom.

Prompts stolen from Yuletides past that I would still love to see:

Something gen: I'd love to see Han and Victoria (feel free to include other characters from the rest of the gang, if you'd like?) going on adventures, getting together to save the world, or even just attending some sort of RED reunion (which Han crashes for Reasons). Any sort of spy equivalent to case fic would make me clap my hands with glee.

Something shippy: The above, plus Han/Victoria. They have to go undercover as a couple for plot reasons! (Han surprises himself with how much he enjoys playing boy-toy to Victoria's rich older lady. Victoria, meanwhile, is not surprised at all by how much she enjoys it all.) Han does not so much crash the reunion as show up as Victoria's plus one. They save the world and then they kiss.

Something dark: GHOST LOVE STORY. The only acceptable way to kill these characters: Victoria dies and haunts Han, giving him advice, even when he doesn't want it, critiquing his form and methods, drinking scotch and laughing at his few mishaps. And then they kiss.

Something explicit: Victoria helps Han break in his new plane. Alternately: car sex.

Rimworld

Requested character(s): Worldbuilding (Rimworld)

Things I like about this canon and general canon promotion:

Like Dwarf Fortress, Rimworld is a simulation and generative storytelling, this time set in space! You can play with regular old humans or a variety of aliens. You can play peace-loving farmers, globe-trotting wanderers, or, taking a leaf from the book of the pirates attacking you, raiders. There are also a ton of DLCs and mods.

It's available on Steam and, if you read this letter in time, currently on sale. (Creator assigned me, I regret that the sale will be done once you get this link.)

FYI, I am fine with references to mods! I'm most familiar with mods like Hospitality, Dubs Bad Hygiene, UI improvements, cooking and furniture and plant expansions, RimZoo (RIP), SeedsPlease, A Dog Said (animal prosthetics), Kill For Me (directable pet armies), Factional War, Go Explore, various Vanilla mods, Tradeable Trinkets, and so on. I'm not very familiar with mods that add new races, but if there's enough background to understand what's going on, more than happy to roll with whatever mod references you want to include regardless of whether I'm personally familiar with them.

I'd love any worldbuilding for Rimworld. Tell me about your colony, new or established! Tell me about a glitterworld! Explore one of the cultures out there! Give me the more in depth backstory of one of the generated pawns! Follow the adventures of a man or woman in black and how they ended up in that life! Tell me about a rogue AI! Tell me about the cult worshipping the rogue AI! Show me the ancients, before it all went wrong! Tell me about a Thrumbos and its adventures roaming the world with its companion!

I'm honestly just eager for whatever it is that interests you in Rimworld, from the zany to the horrific to the optimistic and uplifting and on. Any tone, from a happy ending to a total colony kill.
