Hi! I have previous past letters with longer likes lists that still hold true, so, feel free to peruse my past 2020 Fic in a Box letter for generalities or any past letters with applicable fandoms, though please be aware of my current DNWs. Due to time constraints, much of this is copy-pasted from my 2021 FiaB letter.

I'm open to treats of any kind, which is why I'm leaving in my text likes, but to avoid any confusion for the person assigned me: yes, I've only requested comics.

I like all ratings for works, from General Audiences to Explicit.

I'm open to any length, from just over the minimum to sprawling epics (and under the min for treats).

I like both traditional fic and non-traditional and experimental formats, including interactive fiction, Choose Your Own Adventure, epistolary, in universe documents, and multimedia. I like past and present tense. I generally prefer third person (especially consistent third person limited where POV shift only happens in scene breaks or doesn't happen at all) or a match to canon (which in some cases is going to be first (as with ISMM) or second) or a match to the standards of the form (e.g. first person for epistolary, letters, and journals; second person for CYOA and IF).

(I'm open to everything! These are just preferences.)

Art Likes

Go as E- or G-rated as you'd like (unless creating for Dwarf Fortress, in which case please reserve E for violence, not sex). I especially like character expressions and things that set mood (color, body language, composition, etc), as well as scenery. I also like details in clothing, jewelry, and hairstyles and hair ribbons and fancy hair pieces where appropriate (e.g. fancy weddings including fancy clothes).

I really enjoy settings, background, and other details, so if you're like, "Oh, no, is this extra detail unwanted?" the answer will always be no, please give it to me. On the flip side, please don't feel like you have to go super in depth to please me. I'm sure I will be happy wherever you end up on the spectrum.

Some non-explicit poses I especially like for ships are characters kissing (on the mouth, the temple, the top of the head, hands, the cheek, etc), holding hands, hugging, carrying each other (princess carry, fireman, piggyback, shoulder rides), dancing, cuddling, and pressing their foreheads together.

For sexually explicit art, feel free to take anything from my smut likes, but for something visual, I especially like bruises and marks, bondage, face touching or holding hands or other visual forms of intimacy and affection while fucking (and also just in general), and hair-petting or pulling.

For longform art like comics, I enjoy action scenes, quieter things like characters solving mysteries, happy slice of life comics for my ships, horror comics (both where we see the horror and where it's always off-screen, ominous and left to the imagination), romantic comedies, and just plain romance. None of that sound interesting? Please peruse my likes lists!

For art based on live action series, I'm less concerned about the characters looking exactly like the actors and more about them being recognizable/capturing the feeling of the characters.

For any art, I would enjoy whatever your style is, something in the style of canon, or something in the style of another canon if that sounds like fun for you!

• Permanent non-canon requested character death. (Feel free to have as much temporary requested character death as you like so long as all my requested characters are alive at the end of the work. If you kill WWX like in canon, please revive him like in canon.)
• Graphic descriptions of eye trauma. (References to past eye trauma or non-descriptive eye loss are fine.)
• Comas and unrequested real life serious illness.
• Death of pets, things that could be pets (e.g. cats, dogs), mounts, or other beloved animals (e.g. Little Apple). (Minor references to canon incidents are fine, but please don't put a focus on it/have it happen on screen.)
• AUs in which canon universes with fantastical elements (magic, chakra, cultivation, super powers, the Force) have said fantastical elements removed without anything equivalent to replace it and are turned entirely mundane.
• Hopelessly unhappy endings (unless Dwarf Fortress, in which case, go wild).
• Gender-related dysphoria. (Dysphoria unrelated to gender is fine.)
• Pregnancy of trans men. (Other mpreg welcome.)
• When swapping a character's physical sex inside the story, the narrative of the story also swapping pronouns to follow the sex of the character’s current physical form instead of continuing to use the pronouns of their gender identity. (Essentially: I want the pronouns used for a character to match their gender identity. If Ling Wen assumes her male form for story purposes, please continue to call her she/her; same with other characters. If someone transmigrates into a body that's a different sex, please continue to use their original pronouns unless that character also experiences a shift in their gender identity.)
• The phrase "gay panic."
• Infidelity. (References to canon infidelity are fine.)
• Focus on unrequited love or the requested ship being unrequited. (Pining is fine; other characters not in the requested ship having unrequited love in the background is fine; the requested ship mistakenly believing it's unrequited is fine.)
• Focus on unrequested ships. (Other ships, canon or not, are fine so long as they're not a major focus of the work.)
• Underage (under 18) sex. (References to teenagers being sexually active in teenager-typical ways is fine, but I don't want explicit sex scenes or art.)
• Adult/currently-a-minor relationships (short age gaps of 17/19 are fine, as are large age gaps between adults).
• The spelling "cum" (as opposed to "come").
• Anal tearing or bleeding.
• Women on the receiving end of anal.
• Contract or 24/7 BDSM or the word "master" in a sexual context.
• Painplay as a punishment or unintended and/or unwelcome sexual arousal from a punishment or torture.
• Mommy/daddy kink.
• Visual mediums with strobing effects/rapid bright flashing lights.

Disco Elysium:

• Permanent non-canonical character death of canon characters. (Killing villains who died in different ways is fine. Killing OCs is fine. Temporary character death is fine. All potential canonical character deaths except for the requested characters are fine.)

Dragon Age:

• Death of Hawke companions except Anders. (I'm sorry, Anders, I love you, but I imprinted on the murder knife scene. That said, you really don't need to kill Anders, either.)

Dwarf Fortress DNWs:

• On-screen sex.

Fallout 4 DNWs:

• Death of Sole Survivor's companions.
• Sole Survivor siding with the Brotherhood or Institute.

Modao Zushi/Untamed DNWs:

• Permanent non-canonical character death of canon characters. (Killing villains who died in different ways is fine. Killing OCs is fine. Temporary character death is fine.)
• On-screen dog attack.
• Mixing major plot points like the yin iron into MDZS or vice versa. (While I don't mind if small canon details are mixed up or forgotten, I would prefer an MDZS work to be intended to be an MDZS work and an Untamed work to be an Untamed work. I would rather not get yin iron in MDZS or Wei Wuxian really being responsible for killing Jin Zixuan in The Untamed. Exception: feel free to turn the censorship puppets into actual fierce corpses.)

Naruto DNWs:

• Boruto canon.
• Permanent non-canonical character death of canon characters. (Killing villains who died in different ways is fine. Killing OCs is fine. Temporary character death is fine.)
• Any mention of Neji dying.
• Summons deaths.
• Even in the background, Sakura/Naruto, Sakura/Sasuke, Sakura/Kakashi, Sakura/Guy. (References to early canon crushes are fine.)

Scum Villain's Self-Saving System DNWs:

• Character death of: ZZL. (If you're going with post-canon, please either don't mention him or pretend with me that he definitely survived.)
• Permanent character death of: Airplane Bro!SQH, MBJ (any), Bingmei, Shen Yuan, SV!verse LQG, NYY (any). (Temporary character death is fine, both canon and not.)
