Multifandom Tropefest 2024 Letter

Hi! I have previous past letters with longer likes lists that still hold true, so feel free to peruse old letters, though please be aware of my current DNWs and requests. Due to time constraints, many of my likes and such are copy-pasted from past letters.

What I've written and what I want as a gift can differ, so for best results, please rely on my likes and DNWs over what you may find on my AO3 works page.

Text Likes

I like all ratings for fic, from General Audiences to Explicit.

I'm open to any length, from just over the minimum to sprawling epics (and under the min for treats).

I like both traditional fic and non-traditional and experimental formats, including interactive fiction, Choose Your Own Adventure, epistolary, in universe documents, and multimedia. I like past and present tense. I generally prefer third person (especially consistent third person limited where POV shift only happens in scene breaks or doesn't happen at all) or a match to canon (which in some cases is going to be first or second) or a match to the standards of the form (e.g. first person for epistolary, letters, and journals; second person for CYOA and IF).

(I'm open to everything! These are just preferences.)

Art Likes

I am open to any rating for art, but please note my art DNWs that would especially apply for explicit art.

I especially like character expressions and things that set mood (color, body language, composition, etc), as well as scenery. I also like details in clothing, jewelry, and hairstyles and hair ribbons and fancy hair pieces where appropriate (e.g. fancy weddings including fancy clothes).

I really enjoy settings, background, and other details, so if you're like, "Oh, no, is this extra detail unwanted?" the answer will always be no, please give it to me. On the flip side, please don't feel like you have to go super in depth to please me. I'm sure I will be happy wherever you end up on the spectrum.

Some non-explicit poses I especially like for ships are characters kissing (on the mouth, the temple, the top of the head, hands, the cheek, etc), holding hands, hugging, carrying each other (princess carry, fireman, piggyback, shoulder rides), dancing, cuddling, and pressing their foreheads together.

For sexually explicit art, feel free to take anything from my smut likes, but for something visual, I especially like bruises and marks, bondage, face touching or holding hands or other visual forms of intimacy and affection while fucking (and also just in general), and hair-petting or pulling.

For longform art like comics, I enjoy action scenes, quieter things like characters solving mysteries, happy slice of life comics for my ships, horror comics (both where we see the horror and where it's always off-screen, ominous and left to the imagination), romantic comedies, and just plain romance. None of that sound interesting? Please peruse my long and varied likes lists!

For art based on live action series, I'm less concerned about the characters looking exactly like the actors and more about them being recognizable/capturing the feeling of the characters. Same for other types of canons, too, really. I'm not the right audience for more abstract works that require the viewer reading into the work or ones that require extrapolation on the viewer's part, as I'll admit I'm terrible at that, but otherwise, if the style you want to use differs from the style of canon, I'd be happy to see what you come up with. For any canon, I'd be happy with whatever your style is, something in the style of canon, or something in the style of another canon if that sounds like fun for you!

Naruto DNWs:

• Boruto canon. Permanent noncanonical character death of canon characters. (Killing villains who died in different ways is fine. Killing OCs is fine. Temporary character death is fine.) Any mention of Neji dying. Summons deaths.

I Woke Up As the Villain DNWs:

• Permanent deaths of named non-villain characters (e.g. Choi Yuseong, Yoo Bernard, Choi Yuseong's siblings who are not plotting against him).

Fallout DNWs:

• Sole Survivor siding with the Institute or the Brotherhood of Steel. Permanent death of any non-Institute companions or the Sole Survivor.

Omniscient Reader DNWs:

• Non-canonical (for where we are in canon in the webtoon) permanent deaths of named non-villain characters (e.g. the kids, KDJ, YJH, companions).

The Untamed DNWs:

• Permanent noncanonical character death of canon characters. (Killing villains who died in different ways is fine. Killing OCs is fine. Temporary character death is fine. Killing Jin Zixuan a different way to make a new plot happen is fine. Setting it after WWX died and before he resurrected is fine so long as you don't say, "And then Mo Xuanyu definitely never resurrected him.") | Break-up of wangxian. (Divergence in which they're never together or open relationship are both fine.) | Lan Wangji in a relationship without Wei Wuxian. | On-screen dog attack. | Intentional fusion of MDZS/The Untamed. (I'm fine with minor details getting confused between adaptations, and if you don't tag with both, I will assume you did your best. If you want to turn Untamed censorship puppets into zombies, that is the one thing I'd actually be very happy to have brought over from MDZS.)

• Non-canonical (for where we are in canon in the webtoon) permanent deaths of named non-villain characters (e.g. HYJ, BYR, HSJ, HYH) or Han Yoojin's monster pet friends.

逆転裁判 | Gyakuten Saiban | Ace Attorney DNWs:

• Permanent non-canonical character death of requested characters or Detective Gumshoe. (Mia's canonical death is fine; temporary deaths overturned by time travel are fine; turning Phoenix Wright into a ghost for an Edgeworth/Wright ghost love story is fine.)

DNW Clarifications and Explications:

Comas and unrequested real life serious illness: Weird confined to canon stuff like Without a Cure, qi deviations, or chakra exhaustion are fine. Cancer is not.

Gender-related dysphoria: Dysphoria unrelated to gender is fine. I'm good with body horror, but if someone transmigrates into an AFAB body from an AMAB one or vice versa (or something else where gender dysphoria can crop up), I don't want descriptions of their discomfort with their new chest or genitalia or signs that their gender identity is a reason this experience is distressing for them. Discomfort over things like the body being the wrong height or the arms being shorter or other things that could be the same whether male or female are fine. "This is weird, but I'm rolling with it" is fine. "I have breasts now and I'm actively distraught over it" is not a good fit for a gift for me.

Trans characters existing without any reference to them experiencing dysphoria is fine (as are references to binding, tucking, and other things that I have room to read as to do with presentation alone).

I'm fine with pregnancy experienced as body horror in mpreg, but in that case, please still avoid active distress over developing breast tissue/anything in the chest area, and please heed the pregnancy of trans men DNW.

Pregnancy of trans men: To be as clear as possible, this DNW is for pregnancy of people who were assigned female at birth but identify as men. So long as my other DNWs are followed, I'm fine with things like people changing around their own body, including their reproductive systems, with magic or by other means to try to make mpreg possible; trans women or nonbinary people getting pregnant; or male transmigrators getting pregnant (whether it's because they fell into an omegaverse world, men can just get pregnant in this world, or they ended up in a female body (in which in this one case, yes, you can mpreg a newly trans man, though please heed the gender-related dysphoria DNW)).

Dubcon, noncon, rapeplay. Sexual harassment or menacing: In the past, I've been fine with (and liked) a lot of dubcon, but I currently don't want any. In the case of anything that could be taken in a dub- or noncon direction, I want the consensual version only.

Memory issues related to sex: Memory issues unrelated to sex are fine.

Infidelity etc.: Poly is fine. I don't want anyone confused on the fact that it is poly, not cheating.

In general, my major concern is to avoid a) definitely cheating in any direction, b) something in which one part of the ship thinks the other part is in a closed relationship and that's what the main ship is engaging in, c) something in which one half of a closed relationship believes the other is cheating on them and we the audience are likely to also think that's what's going on and which comprises a major, ongoing part of the work as opposed to something brief and mistaken.

References to canon infidelity are fine.

Focus on unrequited love: For pining for requested ships, characters can think it is unrequited, but I would like them to be wrong. References to things as they stand at whatever point in canon are fine in canons where unrequited love comes up, but I'd rather not get a fic entirely about a character being sad that their love is a one way street and ending up alone unless explicitly requested.

Underage (under 18) sex: References to teenagers being sexually active in teenager-typical ways is fine, but I'd rather not get explicit sex scenes.

Adult/currently-a-minor relationships: Aging up so everyone is over 18 is fine. Relationships between two people roughly the same age is fine, like a 17 and 19 year old. References to minors having unrequited crushes on adults is fine (though in that case, again, I'd rather not have that unrequited crush be a major focus). For scenarios in which two adults knew each other when one was a minor, I'd prefer not to have direct references to the possibility that anything could've happened then, even if it's to emphasize that the younger adult is an adult now.

Anal tearing or bleeding: Dry sex and using things that aren't lube as lubricant (e.g. semen or spit) going by porn logic is fine so long as there's no damage from it.

Women on the receiving end of anal: If women are having anal sex, I want them to be on the giving end only (so f->m pegging is fine).

Contract or 24/7 BDSM or use of the word "master" in a sexual context: Mentioning this because I have a lot of BDSM-related or adjacent likes. It wouldn't ruin my night or fic, but I'm not super into the formalized contract thing or it being the focus of a relationship/what the relationship is primarily about, and I don't want to accidentally set any traps for my author. I'm fine with and enjoy non-formalized play, with people having fun with pain, bondage, some power dynamics (e.g. characters addressing each other by title), etc.

Painplay as a punishment or unintended and/or unwelcome sexual arousal from a punishment or torture: If someone's getting spanked, I want it to be because they want it. If someone's getting tortured, I don't want it to be sexual.

On-screen naked clearly visible dicks in art gifts: Please hide the dicks in some way, whether that's in water that isn't very clear so you can only see a vague outline, through angling, inside the other person (the base/beginning of a dick going into someone being visible is fine), a conveniently placed house plant or thigh, everything but the base/bottom inch being hidden by someone's hand, partially clothed sex—it doesn't matter to me so long as the head isn't visible and most of it is hidden. Again, this DNW is for art only. (I have commented on and liked many works that would hit this DNW, but DNWing the specifics of what I'm actually trying to avoid isn't really feasible, so even though there's only a 10% chance of getting something that would guarantee I disliked the gift, we're throwing the metaphorical baby out with the bathwater.)

Other than bonded pets, I'm up for any and everyone being in as much or as little danger as you'd like. Besides graphic descriptions of eye trauma, you can also do as much or as little damage to the characters as you'd like, whether it's in the detached tone of canon or otherwise. Go as shippy or gen as you'd like. Any level of happy ending to unhappily ever after is welcome in this fandom.

For time loops, I'd love anything from humor to horror to dwarven shenanigans. Is this magic, an artifact, a dwarf that figured out how to loop time after exploring the effects the circus and catsplosions have on time, a meta work in which a dwarf is becoming self-aware of someone save scumming their way around a fortress ending, something else? I love time loops and would love to see the DF take on them!

As for horror, in addition to my horror likes above, have a copy-paste of stuff from a Jump Scare past:

I would love any level of spooky to hair-raising horror for this. Dwarf Fortress is full of horror, and I love it all! From ghosts cutely hosting a party to ghosts haunting the battlefields ready to kill their killers to ghosts haunting the fortress, ready to take their revenge on the living for still being alive, I am sure I would love a ghost story/art. Or necromancers! Necromancers and their armies of the undead, necromancers and their awful, terrifying experiments, necromancers starting off with good intentions to protect their fortress and weird how everyone else is a zombie now, anyway, the necromancer isn't an unreliable narrator and the walls dripping blood aren't concerning, now the fortress is Totally Safe. Haunted forests, islands, and other landscapes. Coming to a new colony with hope and leaving in despair ... or never being able to leave at all. An adventurer ready to strike it big, out alone in the wilderness, cozying down to bed, only to hear the sound of something out there in the night ... or maybe not waking until it's already above them, fangs slathering.

For art, some things I'd like in DF art include: striking black and white; bold and dark reds for blood; wispy whites and greys in ghosts; bright cheery colors or sweet soft pastels at odds with the horrifying thing being depicted; regular color schemes; art in the style of original DF or tilesets (though it doesn't need to be; I am specifically opting in to receiving things like red dots and commas for blood and purple ks to represent zombie keas, not trying to ward off more traditional digital art, which I'd also welcome). Bloody smears from dwarves dragged away. Wispy ghosts. Forests that look like they're about to come back to life and take their revenge on the woodcutter cowering in front of them. Adventuring dwarves trying to sleep, but in the night, glowing eyes watch, waiting, night creatures ready to pounce. Happy little ghost party showing that some ghosts are cute, actually, and they love this legendary lava fall dining room.

Some general horror likes: artifacts of doom, body horror, cannibalism (by choice or by necessity; knowing or unknowing), creeping horror, eldritch horrors, gallows humor, ghosts and ghost stories, mimics and people lures, monkey's paws (literal or metaphorical), monsters, murder mysteries where the characters have to worry they're next on the block, non-euclidean geometry and architecture, the setting is out to get you, the undead.

I am fine with OC ships if you want to include any, but I am also happy with gen.

General fandom note:

I go with the Guy writing/reading, but I don't mind anyone spelling it Gai instead. I'm not a huge fan of the end of the manga. You can feel free to ignore or include things from it at will so long as Neji doesn't die. If you just don't mention him, I will assume he is still alive and kicking around, so you don't need to directly contradict canon if you don't want to. I'm willing to do the heavy lifting in my head so long as you give me room to. When it comes to explicit fic, I have no strong preferences for who does a thing to whom.

What I like about this canon/ship:

This is seriously one of my permanent OTPs. I love how they play off each other, the way they'll troll each other a little, but still hold genuine and abiding respect and affection for each other. I love their long history and how well they know each other. The setting itself is fun (battle wizard ninja! serious moments and silly shenanigans both!), but my greatest love is for the characters.

Tags notes:

I have chosen enough tags here that I don't have particular things to say about all of them, but I am truly excited for any tag!

For horror leaning tags, feel free to go as gently spooky to as terrifying as you'd like.

For other tags like accidental marriage or accidental baby acquisition, I would be really happy with both straightforward trope-y "they fall in love" and also works that lean into the humor and go full romcom.

For time travel, feel free to fix or break the timeline, though I would prefer a happy ending (or assumed projected happy ending) over something that ends in despair.

I also love hurt/comfort, so if you want to lean into that for the secret relationship reveal when one character is badly injured tag but aren't sure how far to go, know that I would be absolutely delighted! Fuck up Guy and/or Kakashi! Maybe there's a bedside vigil! This could be canon events or something entirely new, and I am sitting here with popcorn.

For selkies, I like the thought of either of them being the selkie! There's also some great stuff to play with with the idea of marriage via selkie coat. Maybe one asks to borrow clothes from the other and they take the warm coat, accidentally getting married! Maybe one of them tries to secretly propose by just straight up stuffing it in the other's closet (Kakashi, I think it would be Kakashi doing this). Or use of selkie abilities in a mission! Or just playing together in the water. IDK, SELKIES.

For AU tags, I'd love if we kept canon's chakra, etc., but I'd also be happy with a full AU so long as there's something not mundane going on. So if you wanted to have ghost hunters with actual ghosts but sadly no ninja, I would still show up happily in the works comments like, "GHOSTS, GHOSTS, GHOSTS."

What I like about this canon/ship:

I fell for this ship when Bernard gives Choi Yuseong a thumbs up for beating him. I loved Bernard from his intro, wanting to be fair, to compete in a real way, but also wanting to do right by the people he's responsible for. And then! Him telling his grandpa off! Running away to protect Choi Yuseong! Immediately pivoting when he found out Choi Yuseong didn't need protecting to ask for protection! I love him.

Choi Yuseong's genuine affection and admiration for Bernard is great, too! His decision that yes, actually, he's allowed to make friends and be happy!

(Also, I love Choi Yuseong's whole deal, wanting to live but actually willing to go really far to protect people, too, even if he frames it in mercenary ways sometimes.)

Tag notes:

Bathing together! Hurt/comfort! Maybe something set in the future! Maybe something set in an AU! Maybe after Kim Dojin leaves the party, Choi Yuseong is actually still kind of hurt, and Bernard helps him bathe! Maybe Bernard was actually hurt pretty badly, and Choi Yuseong helps him bathe. Maybe Choi Yuseong did actually end up losing his powers and Bernard gets to live his bodyguard (turned lover) dreams!

I want to emphasize that for art for this request, I would be happy with any sort of shippy scene depicting the tag or a scene from a tag (though I would always greedily love a full comic, too!). One carrying the other, the two in a shower or bathtub together, one shampooing the other's hair, one standing or held captive in front of the other, who is watching with a devasted expression as they're injured—I'm willing to read the ship in for art so long as it's tagged with the ship and they both appear.

What I like about this canon/ship:

Okay, while I kind of background shipped this with Choi Yuseong's whole thing about how Kim Dojin is the most beautiful man ever and his comment about Kim Dojin seducing him, where I really fell in love was Kim Dojin being prepared to cut someone over budae jjigae and Choi Yuseong's reaction to Kim Dojin inviting himself to dinner and looking like he'd murder Choi Yuseong if he said no was basically, "Awww, I'm really starting to become fond of him."

"I will maul your hand for this food" cat energy vs. "I love all cats, especially murder cats" cat owner energy is apparently a dynamic I greatly appreciate.

I also think it's very funny that Choi Yuseong is concerned about Kim Dojin using him and killing him while Kim Dojin is on the fast track to wanting Choi Yuseong as his husband partner walking beside him. I love that even when he thought Choi Yuseong had lost his powers, Kim Dojin was ready to come over and see with his own eyes that Choi Yuseong was alive and comfort him yell at him for giving up the powers that could be used for Kim Dojin's cause to protect some rando.

These two are kind of disastrous in some ways, but I would love for them to get a happy ending! Also any and all hints of loyalty and affection building into something real.

(Also, I love Choi Yuseong's whole deal, wanting to live but actually willing to go really far to protect people, too, even if he frames it in mercenary ways sometimes.)

Some thoughts I have about some of these: for soulmates, I think it would be fun/interesting to explore names. Whose name shows up? Current names or original? Imagine the inherent tension between thinking someone is your soulmate and also thinking they're going to kill you as part of their twenty step plan to kill your father. Or planning to use someone, but then their name appears on your arm, congrats, you have a soulmate now! Or falling in love with someone despite their name and your soulmark, only to find out that they have another name, too. Or something else! Lots of places to go with this and things to play around with, and I'm interested in them all.

For accidental marriage, either of them forgetting about/not realizing how marriage combat works because one's a regressor and the other a transmigrator. Or maybe Kim Dojin is doing this entirely on purpose, and Choi Yuseong spends that fight thinking Kim Dojin is trying to kill or at least incapacitate him!

Or falling into bed/fucking against a wall/whatever, and Choi Yuseong just like, "I don't have to worry about what Kim Dojin is up to with this if I just don't think about it afterward!" then failing at not thinking about it.

Or, OR, Choi Yuseong getting pregnant, and this somehow solving at least some of the plot. Is it an omegaverse fic, a fic where some male characters are bearers, a new power, a side effect of an item, something else? I would be delighted both with Kim Dojin being the biological father OR Choi Yuseong getting pregnant as a result of an item causing a pregnancy without the need for anyone else's input, and Kim Dojin realizing he wants the baby to be his, and he will in fact be stepping up to take responsibility for the baby (whether he knows there is no other father or is thinking that if the other father shows up, he'll just destroy them). If you would prefer Kim Dojin being pregnant instead, I would also be willing to roll with that!

Again, I don't necessarily have much to say about all of these tags, but I love them and am pointing excitedly at the rest and making hopeful eyes for those, too.

What I like about these characters/this ship:

Deacon is my absolute favorite companion, and it's a crying shame we cannot romance him. I love his humor, his disguises, his lies, and the way, despite everything, he really, truly genuinely cares. I loved running into him as a guard just outside Diamond City and as a trader elsewhere (his comment about "for trade things" made me laugh and wonder, "Are you even trying anymore?") and just--pretty much every time I turned around, and I love that he vouches for you even if you haul ass straight to the Railroad at level one as a complete nobody. He has no reason to have faith in the Sole Survivor, but he does. I love best a Sole Survivor who does their best to bear out that faith, as someone who gives him hope again, if not in their words, then their actions. Also, sarcasm buddies for life.

As with RED, I'm just as happy to see the other person catch on right away or to get to spend time with them being betrayed and it feeling awful and wondering how much the other person told them was true (and if it's Deacon who's on the betrayed end, maybe wondering how he could let himself fall for it). I have no preference for who is doing which, I am just making eager grabby hands.

For the undercover distress, I'd love for Sole Survivor to grapple with being so good at being evil, or Deacon being slightly nervous about how good the Sole Survivor is at pretending, though I'd be happy to read it either way! Evil in this case could be undercover with the Institute, undercover with the Brotherhood of Steel, or undercover with infiltrating raiders or slavers or anti-synth groups or a cannibalistic cult that recruits new people and then sacrifices one each year or whatever catches your fancy so long as it doesn't hit one of my DNWs.

I also feel like undercover and catching feelings could be so delicious. Would the Sole Survivor believe Deacon? If it's the Sole Survivor, would they be conflicted and wonder if it's just bleedover? How far do they take the act? Is there bed-sharing for the sake of the cover? Do they make out at some point to allay suspicion? Is Deacon actually really touch-feely as part of the act? Do they angst about how this is actually really close to what they want, but it's not real, or do they think that they would act differently if it were real, and maybe they have a hint that the other person seems to be catching feelings, but oh, no, obviously it's just that they are falling for the fake cover (except no, it's still always the other person, who they really are)?

My love of time loops just remains so deep that I have very little to say here except that I will take it all. Please feel free to lean into the time loops to embrace temporary character death. In the case of a time loop, I am also okay with the Sole Survivor temporarily siding with the Brotherhood or Institute as part of an earlier loop so long as they do not end on a Brotherhood or Institute ending/have intentions to end there.

As for the secret relationship, I feel like there's a lot of room to play with Deacon's whole deal and how the Sole Survivor can really jump straight into things and be weird, too. My favorite Sole Survivors are at least a little weird—see, every time, I have my Sole Survivor don the costume and live their comic book radio play dreams. Do some people know anyway? Do they deny everything even when people catch them getting up from the same mattress every time? Do they have good excuses, or does Deacon channel his best "Sure love to trade here for trade things" BS?

Again, I don't necessarily have much to say about all of these tags, but I love them and am pointing excitedly at the rest and making hopeful eyes for those, too.

What I like about these characters/this ship:

I love that Kim Dokja is so invested in Yoo Joonghyuk and yet also clearly recognizes that YJH is kind of a jerk (and loves him anyway). YJH slowly building loyalty and trust, realizing that he's willing to entrust the future to KDJ, and going hard the first time he thinks KDJ died is so, so good. Companions of life and death! Blaming each other/giving each other credit! Honestly, though, I was hooked from very early on, when YJH held him over the side of the bridge, let go, and Kim Dokja smiled as he fell through the air.

FYI that I am aware of many novel spoilers, but I have not read all of the novel, so I'm good if you want to ignore it or if you want to include some lore from it. I'd prefer nothing set after the novel ending, because I haven't gotten that far, though I would be fine and/or happy with something set after some pre-supposed ending in which everyone lives happily ever after. Regardless of when it's set, I would love for these two to have a happy ending with each other!

NHS/QS:

I think there's so much that can be done here with something done out of convenience or scheming turning into real affection. I love Nie Huaisang and how he passes himself off as a very silly, not at all dangerous person, but when he has the motivation, he can be very scheming and dangerous indeed. At the end of the day, he just wanted to catch birds and paint, but he has his own bottom line. Qin Su had such a tragic fate, and I'd like to see her get a happier ending!

For the tags, Qin Su's pregnancy can be JGY's like with canon, or if you'd like to go a seduction and pregnancy to force the issue a little route mirroring JGY/QS's original relationship, I'd be fine with that, too.

For the contract being bought out, there could be a marriage contract with Qin Su and JGY that NHS snipes, or it could be something else.

I'd love any of these tags for them! What I'm most hoping to see is Nie Huaisang at his scheming best (or maybe flailing around and accidentally getting a marriage out of it) and Qin Su somehow getting a potential happy ending as a result.

JYL/NHS:

Jiang Yanli is so great, and I think Nie Huaisang could easily both try to use her for purposes if she survives canon (or if he time travels back) and for him to fall for her. They both understand that not all power is in one's cultivation, and I think they could also potentially be a power couple. Maybe JYL is just doing her best and unaware of certain things but still gets a happy ending … or maybe she gets to be involved in the scheming! Or maybe they have the arranged marriage from the start, and Jiang Yanli gets a much easier fiance out of the bargain. Maybe Nie Huaisang buys JYL's contract for reasons. Maybe the Jiang Sect buys Nie Huaisang's contract prior to or mid Sunshot for political reasons.

I like all of these tags and this ship, and I'm just excited to see what someone does with them.

For the pregnancy tags, I am fine with the baby being Jin Zixuan's from anticipating their vows (and him dying earlier or something else happening) or with it being Nie Huaisang's.

LWJ/WWX:

While it's a different canon, I do talk about what I like about this ship in MDZS in a prior letter. Something I appreciate about the Untamed is that it seems like they actually seem quite a bit more on the same page regarding their feelings but that circumstances and differing priorities, values, and secrets hold them apart. I would love for them to get a happy ending, whether that's allowing the Sunshot Campaign and after to go the same way and starting from WWX's resurrection or just going totally AU for events in a way that lets them get a happy ending earlier.

For the pregnancy tags, I would be delighted with an accidental ghost path experimentation/other experimentation cultivated pregnancy or with LWJ getting to live his dreams and getting WWX pregnant.

Again, I love these tags and would love to see your take on any of them.

What I like about these characters/this ship:

I love that these two have one another in their contacts as "My Item" and "Skill." I love that they are both always down for impromptu roleplay. I screamed at that panel of Hyung Sunje's realization that they were about to start "the helpless F-Class bullied and kidnapped by the powerful and demanding S-Class who views him as an item, not a person." His smile! HYUNG SUNJE GOT TO LIVE HIS DREAM. I also love that they're not fully fluffy, that Hyung Sunje was willing to take advantage of the skill nerf to interrogate Han Yoojin, only for Han Yoojin to go, "Psych, I will perform a skill on myself to make myself even more terrified of someone else." The dancing! The flowers! Hyng Sunje joining the line of people who meet Han Yoojin and decide to put their hands on his neck! Making him eggs! The adults can be a little more flexible! Getting burned because he knew that Han Yoojin would be sad if Han Yoohyun hurt Bak Yerim! This webtoon is so good to me and to this ship.

Han Yoojin seeming like the reasonable or weak one at times but having zero limits when it counts is so good. He has A+ problem-solving, and I love him. I love that he is unashamedly a brocon and his little brother comes first (though I am not interested in a gift exploring that in a shippy way).

FYI that while I am using the webtoons.com spelling because that's where I'm reading it, I'm fine with the Hyung Sungjae novel spelling. I am willing to roll with whichever transliteration. You can assume that I'm current through the ads locked episodes, maybe slightly farther.

Fic tag notes:

I would love hurt/comfort, and I am equally excited for either one being hurt or doing the comforting. I am leaving it fully up to you how you want to hurt them, but I am very excited for any of these tags.

These are just some rambling ideas, so if you know what you want to do, please go for it!

Hyung Sunje hurt his hands protecting one of Han Yoojin's kids, and Han Yoojin is suspicious that maybe Hyung Sunje let himself be hurt a little bit, but also yes, fine, he is helping Hyung Sunje do up the buttons of his shirt, fine, he will cook for Hyung Sunje this time, okay, he will feed him, sure, he will unzip his pants so—hey, wait, aren't you taking this a bit far??? Or maybe Han Yoojin has nightmares and Hyung Sunje is like, "This will help," and to Han Yoojin's chagrin, despite the S-Class aura, it does, actually. Or maybe Hung Sunje has the nightmares. Maybe one tenderly bandages up the other in/after a dungeon! Maybe Hyung Sunje has to carry an injured Han Yoojin—or maybe Han Yoojin is not that injured, but Sung Hyunje is going to carry him anyway. Maybe one washes the other's wounds, or they're hurt in a way that makes it hard to wash their hair, so the other does it for them, or maybe one or both has had a really bad time of it, and they're going to quietly sit and cuddle in the bathtub together.

In conclusion: please hurt at least one of them and then also give them some comfort in one of the listed tag ways. Other types of comfort in addition welcome, as is mix and matching!

I would love a scene depicting one of these tags, and so long as a freeform tag is depicted and the work is tagged with the ship, I will have my shipping goggles on and assume the ship is there. I fell for this ship in the very first game, and it's still a long-time beloved ship! I loved the reveal about how/why they chose their positions of defense attorney/prosecutor. I like how silly it can get but also how heartfelt it can be.

I have not played the Great Ace Attorneys Chronicles spin-offs, but I do not mind spoilers coming up from those if they're relevant to the fic or art.

I chose a lot of tags that I love dearly, so even if I don't have much to say about one, please know that I would love to see your take on it!

I love, love, love ghosts, and I would really enjoy anything from an AU in which they are ghost hunters instead of attorneys, an AU in which Phoenix Wright is a ghost (and gets a ghost love story with Edgeworth!), an AU in which they are haunted by a third character who needs one/both to take on their case—you can't go wrong with ghosts!

For horror, I enjoy any level of horror from gently spooky to hair-raising terror. Anything in my horror likes would delight me! Haunted settings, settings that are sentient and out to get you, eldritch creatures, fogs that move in and people start disappearing, plant horror, monsters lurking in the dark, people mimics (and other mimics)—I love it all.

I also love time travel a lot! I did not see a general time travel tag, so I chose a number I'd have a lot of fun seeing. I also love time loops so much. I don't have any particular thoughts about these except: YES.

For accidental cat and/or baby acquisitions, I am here for both the fluffy versions of this and the humorous versions.. How did they acquire the cat/baby? Did one go to the other for help? Did one not go to the other for help, but they found out, and they are going to help anyway? Is this part of a case?

For soulmates and soulmarks, I am here for pretty much all interpretations of these tropes played straight. If there is angst, pining, and misunderstandings, I will eat it up with a spoon. If it's a bit more straightforward than that, I'm also here for it. I just want them to get together and be happy.

For bed-sharing, I especially love the tension of not being together but being attracted to each other. Is one of them seemingly oblivious? Did they already have some sort of tension? Do they fall asleep in their own spots and wake up tangled together? Does the tension explode before they even fall asleep? Do they have any quiet, intimate, heartfelt conversations in that magical space where the lights are off, the room is quiet, and they can barely see each other's faces in the dark?

For can't stop thinking about it, how do they first end up having sex? Do they have plans to talk later, or is it something spontaneous followed by something else immediately interrupting the ability to talk, or is it a one night stand with one of them sneaking out the morning after? Do they end up happily ever after? I would love leaning into the one thinking about it trying to do other things and just having it pop into their mind again and again, where despite their best intentions, they can't help but think about it.
