S4S 2022 Letter

Hi! Thank you for creating for me. This is a slightly different version of my usual exchange letter. If you want a slightly different set of likes lists for even more ideas, please see my FiaB 2020 letter.

For S4S, I'm open to everything from PWP to plotty works that contain some porn. Do you need 20k of slow-burn arranged marriage set up to get to 500 words of glorious consummation? I'm here for it! Do you want to write 1k of fucking sans context (besides whatever's in the freeform)? I'm here for that, too! Please don't worry that there's too much or too little plot, as I'm here for the full spectrum of possibilities.

I'm open to any length, from just over the minimum to sprawling epics (and under the min, including drabbles, for treats).

I like both traditional fic and non-traditional and experimental formats, including interactive fiction, Choose Your Own Adventure, epistolary, in universe documents, and multimedia. I like both past and present tense. I generally prefer third person (especially consistent third person limited where POV shift only happens in scene breaks or doesn't happen at all) or a match to canon (which in some cases is going to be first or second) or a match to the standards of the form (e.g. first person for epistolary, letters, and journals; second person for CYOA and IF).

Art Likes

For sexually explicit art, feel free to take anything from my smut likes! My openness to any level of plot applies (if you're ambitious enough) to comics, too.

Smut Likes:

• All things vanilla
  • If you're not sure about most (or any!) of my likes, I'm perfectly happy with straightforward vanilla smut so long as it matches one of my freeforms
• Enthusiasm!
  • Do you have a kink or scenario you'd like to write or draw that doesn't hit one of my DNWs but also doesn't hit square on any of my likes? Characters being really enthusiastic about or discovering how much they like a kink is something I love even if it's something I don't have on my likes list.
  • Also, enthusiasm in general. Characters who are really happy to be there, doing what they're doing, is a definite plus!
• Anal with men on the receiving end
  • Yes: M/M, F→M. No: M→F or F/F.
• Bathing together, one character bathing another, or bathing each other
  • In the case of bath sex, please don't have them have sex that would leave sexual material (e.g. semen) in a shared public bath. Outside the water: fine! In the water: please don't have them leaking precome or ejaculating if someone else is probably going to bathe in that same water.
• Biting—everything from gentle nips to biting hard enough to bruise
• Bondage/restraint, especially:
  • Silk rope
  • Ties, clothing ribbons, or other things being repurposed
  • Honor bondage
• Desperate-for-each-other sex

  • Two or more very determined mundane people. She can and has come twelve times, and her partner is going to get a lucky thirteen out of her. He's come three times already, but his partner is happy to wring another dry orgasm out of him.
  • It's an unspoken AU that people just naturally can come as many times as they'd like before they get too tired to keep going (and even after they fall asleep). Don't look too closely at the realism/worldbuilding, just enjoy all the orgasms.
• Oral sex
  • This is great as foreplay, but also as the main event.
  • Cunnilingus or blow jobs with or without additional fingering.
  • Rough or gentle on the part of the recipient—face-sitting, face-fucking, pulling hair and being really active in directing the giver are great, but so is gentle hair petting, the recipient being tied up or working hard to keep their hands on their thighs or the bed sheets, lying there with their legs open to let the giver go at it.
  • Enthusiastic givers are a plus! Maybe they're new to this and having fun exploring and trying. Maybe they're an old hand reveling in wringing noises out of their partner and pleased at getting their face wet/taking down the whole thing.
• Overstimulation
  • Especially for multiple orgasms, feel free to lean in to the overstimulation. It hurts or is overwhelming, and they like it that way.
• Tenderness
• Trust
• Words and terms:
  • Common terms like dick, cock, pussy, cunt, clit, lips, etc.
  • Euphemisms that fit the canon and characters (so for SQH POV in SVSSS, for instance, feel free to go wild with things like "heavenly pillar")
  • More clinical terms for female genitalia (e.g. labia, clitoris, vagina)

DNWS

General DNWs:

• Noncon, dubcon, sexual harassment, sex-related trauma.
  • (In the past, I've been fine with (and liked) a lot of dubcon, but in the case of anything that could be taken in a dub- or noncon direction, right now I want the fully consensual version only (with a minor carve-out for Wei Wuxian).)
  • (References to characters who exist as a result of rape are fine; but I don't want a focus on the event that resulted in them existing. In MDZS/The Untamed, you're fine to refer to Jin Guangshan being dead, but please don't put a focus on how/why he's dead.)
  • (In the case of MDZS (and only MDZS), wrt Wei Wuxian's canon rape kink, Wei Wuxian's periodic playful protests where it's obvious he's having a great time are fine, but I do not want something like an incense burner full of fantasy noncon or a fully acted out scene as a gift. Also, for wangxian and MDZS, references to their canonically dubcon-y novel moments are fine. Wei Wuxian can have some canon dubcon as a treat.)
• Memory issues related to sex
  • (Memory issues unrelated to sex are fine.)
  • (A Lan Wangji who was black-out drunk wondering if he had sex with Wei Wuxian and being fine with it if the answer is yes is also fine, though I would prefer the answer being no unless he's in an established relationship where it's clear this is something they're fine with and aware of as a possibility and/or unless it's something directly related to canon events. So references to novel canon or a divergence for novel canon: fine. Lan Wangji both hoping he dicked Wei Wuxian down and regretting the answer may be "no:" fine. New AU with wildly different events: let's do something new for their first time, not least because I have already read the novel version.)
• Non-canon comas, covid, and unrequested real life serious illness.
  • (Weird confined to canon stuff like Without a Cure, qi deviations, or chakra exhaustion are fine. Cancer is not.)
• Permanent character death of requested characters and non-canon character death of characters the requested characters care about.
• Death of pets or mounts.
  • (Minor references to canon incidents are fine, but please don't put a focus on it.)
• Mundane AUs.
• The requested ship explicitly not being attracted to each other; on page confirmation the ship will never get together romantically; the ship breaking up and never getting back together.
  • (Temporary break-ups for reasons that can be and are overcome are fine. Please no break-ups for reasons that make sense, then characters getting back together while those reasons are still in play and unresolved.)
• Gender-related dysphoria.
  • (Dysphoria unrelated to gender is fine. Trans characters without depictions of gender-related dysphoria are fine.)
    • (I'm good with body horror, but if someone transmigrates into an AFAB body from an AMAB one or vice versa (or something else where gender dysphoria can crop up), I don't want descriptions of their discomfort with their new chest or genitalia or signs that their gender identity is a reason this experience is distressing for them. Discomfort over things like the body being the wrong height or the arms being shorter or other things that could be the same whether male or female are fine. "This is weird, but I'm rolling with it" is fine. "I have breasts now and I'm actively distraught over it" is not a good fit for a gift for me.)
    • (Trans characters existing without any reference to them experiencing dysphoria is fine, as are references to binding, tucking, and other things that I have room to read as to do with presentation alone.)
    • (I'm fine with pregnancy experienced as body horror in mpreg, but in that case, please still avoid active distress over developing breast tissue/anything in the chest area, and please heed the pregnancy of trans men DNW.)
• In-narrative pronouns following a character's physical sex rather than their gender identity
  • (e.g. male character transmigrates into a female body and the in-his-POV narrative refers to him as "her" despite that character still considering himself a man; I want gender identity and pronouns used in the narrative to match.)
• PIV with trans men on the receiving end.
• Pregnancy of trans men.
  • (Other mpreg welcome!)
  • (To be as clear as possible, this DNW is for pregnancy of people who were assigned female at birth but identify as men. So long as my other DNWs are followed, I'm fine with things like people changing around their own body, including their reproductive systems, with magic or by other means to try to make mpreg possible; trans women or nonbinary people getting pregnant; or male transmigrators getting pregnant (whether it's because they fell into an omegaverse world, men can just get pregnant in this world, or they ended up in a female body (in which in this one case, yes, you can mpreg a newly trans man, though please heed the gender-related dysphoria DNW).)
• The phrase "gay panic."
• Infidelity.
  • (References to canon infidelity are fine.)
  • (Poly is fine. I don't want anyone confused on the fact that it is poly, not cheating.)
  • (In general, my major concern is to avoid a) definitely cheating in any direction, b) something in which one part of the ship thinks the other part is in a closed relationship and that's what the main ship is engaging in, c) something in which one half of a closed relationship believes the other is cheating on them and we the audience are likely to also think that's what's going on and which comprises a major, ongoing part of the work as opposed to something brief and mistaken.)
• Underage (under 18) sex or age play.
  • (References to teenagers being sexually active in teenager-typical ways is fine, but I'd rather not get explicit sex scenes.)
• Adult/currently-a-minor relationships.
  • (Short age gaps of 17/19 are fine, as are large age gaps between adults.)
• The spelling "cum" (as opposed to "come").
• Anal tearing or bleeding.
  • (Dry sex and using things that aren't lube as lubricant (e.g. semen or spit) going by porn logic is fine so long as there's no damage from it.)
• Women on the receiving end of anal.
• Men as doms in M/F relationships.
  • (In M/M relationships, it's fine.)
• Contract or 24/7 BDSM or the word "master" in a sexual context.
  • (Mentioning this because I have a lot of BDSM-related or adjacent likes. It wouldn't ruin my night or fic, but I'm not super into the formalized contract thing or it being the focus of a relationship/what the relationship is primarily about, and I don't want to accidentally set any traps for my author. I'm fine with and enjoy non-formalized play, with people having fun with pain, bondage, some power dynamics (e.g. characters addressing each other by title), etc.)
• Characters needing permission to orgasm/masturbate/engage in normal solo sexual activity or other, more mundane activities.
  • (Edging is fine! Tying someone up during a sexual encounter so they can't touch themselves is also fine. "You'll come like this or not at all [this time]" sexual talk during a single encounter is also fine (even/especially if they're lying or make absolutely certain the other partner can orgasm that way). I just don't want situations where long term the submissive partner needs to acquire permission from the dominant partner in order to do things, even/especially masturbation.)
• Painplay as a punishment or unintended and/or unwelcome sexual arousal from a punishment or torture.
  • (If someone's getting spanked, I want it to be because they want it. If someone's getting tortured, I don't want it to be sexual.)
• One character hitting another in a sexual or romantic context without some indication the character being hit would enjoy it first.
  • (I don't need lots of negotiation! I'm fine without any negotiation, even. I just do not want one character hurting another in a romantic or sexual relationship with zero warning and zero indication that the other character would enjoy it, and it's only chance that this was a moment of sexual awakening for the character being hit.)
• Serious or permanent injury arising from a sex act.
• Mommy/daddy kink.
• Scat. Vomit in a sexual context.
• Urine going inside someone (peeing on someone; drinking it). Explicit confirmation of no clean up after watersports.
• Sex that would leave sexual material (e.g. semen) in a shared public bath.
  • (Outside the water: fine! In the water: please don't have them explicitly leaking precome or ejaculating if someone else is probably going to bathe in that same water.)
• Mouths going on explicitly unbathed feet or assholes.
  • (If you're going to include rimming or foot kink involving mouths touching feet, I need room to imagine these are clean feet/assholes.)
• Bestiality, animal play (e.g. puppy play), or furries.
• Visual mediums with strobing effects/rapid bright flashing lights.

MDZS & The Untamed DNWs:

• Lan Wangji in a relationship without Wei Wuxian (even in works for other ships).
• Bottom Lan Wangji wrt specific physical sexual acts (anal, who's being tied up, and who's being hurt/doing the hurting outside of minor things like biting/hair-pulling).
  • (I struggled with how to phrase this, but this DNW in not intended to imply anything about personality/characterization; it's intended to encompass only specific physical sexual acts and who's doing them. You're fine to include Wei Wuxian's natural tendency to bully Lan Wangji about how much he likes hurting Wei Wuxian or any canonical attitudes and dialogue. For sex scenes, I don't want "novel canon dynamics, but reversed" or even "they switch, and here's the part where Wei Wuxian is the top.")
  • (I tried to only include freeforms for each request that I would be happy to have no matter which way you took it, so if you want to have Lan Wangji be the "wife" in the roleplay tag and have Wei Wuxian live his cottage dreams before being dicked down by his "wife," go for it! If you want to have the reverse, I'd also be very happy with that. Same with biting and hair-pulling, or any other requested tag that specifies an act.)

The Witcher (TV) DNWs:

• Geralt/Yennefer as an ongoing or endgame ship.
  • (Basically: you're fine to reference their previous relationship or their feelings, but please don't make Jaskier/Yennefer be a temporary thing in favor of down-the-line Geralt/Yennefer. While generally I'm fine with poly, open relationships, and no strings attached fuckbuddies, I don't want Geralt/Yennefer to be any of those or to definitely get back together. Geralt & Yennefer as exes who still love each other but are never getting back together is fine, as are Yennefer and Jaskier making catty comments about her previous relationship with Geralt. I'm super picky about Geralt/Yennefer, and I honestly don't know how to instruct you to thread that needle and make sure it's properly threaded, so for this fandom, we're just throwing the needle away.)
