Marvel Femslash Exchange Letter
Hi! I love all of the ships I'm requesting, so if something is longer or shorter than its counterparts, it's due to how much I had to say, not how much I love the request.
Also, as ever and always, I would like to emphasize, please don't feel obligated to read this letter in its entirety (or at all!). If you already have an idea of what you want to do from just the AO3 requests, go for it! This is all to (I hope) make it easier on you, and I am a big believer in optional details being optional. There being more content for these ships will make me happy. Everything else is icing on delicious, delicious cake.
If I flub the letter writing and editing process and mention something in my letter that is not on AO3 and in my sign-ups or if I phrase something poorly, I'd also like to emphasize that that's on me and you're free to pretend you didn't see it (or to ask the mods if you're still concerned). My DNWs are all listed under DNWs in my optional details on AO3. If it's something not listed under DNWs, then that's a preference, but I'm still going to read/look at and comment on your fic/art and (if history is anything to judge) be really happy with it.

DNW Clarifications and Explications:
Graphic eye trauma: Non-descriptive references are fine.
Infidelity or the pretense thereof: Poly outside of MCU Rule 63 Peter/Tony is fine. (In my sign-up and the fandom section, though, it is a definite DNW in MCU for Rule 63 Peter/Tony.) I don't want anyone confused on the fact that it is poly, not cheating.
Hopelessly unhappy endings: I'd prefer either a happy ending or the sense that there's a roadmap to get there. I'm also good with things being bittersweet, where at least you get to keep the memories. For Hela ships, I'm fine with things not ending in a way she in particular is happy with, where she the character may think it's an unhappy ending (e.g. powerless on Earth), but which we the viewer wouldn't agree is a hopelessly unhappy ending (the universe is safe from Hela on a conquest spree!) or in which she in particular is happy (Hela is queen of Asgard), but we the viewer might think of it as an unhappy ending (HELA IS QUEEN OF ASGARD D:). What I'm saying is: Hela can definitely be a major exception here, but I don't want both Hela is super ridiculously unhappy and everything is awful. If you want to go that direction, please choose one.
Actually unrequited love between requested / ships: Characters can think it is, but I would like them to be wrong. Characters can also be shippy without being in a relationship or in love. (Hello, Brunnhilde/Hela or Carol/Minn-Erva antagonistic sex.) But if a character is in love in a requested ship, I would like it to be requited, even if they don't know it is.
Unrequested dub- or non-con or rape play: You're fine to include dubcon from my current likes or free forms from this year's smut swap or h/c exchange letters. I'd prefer anything with consent affected (e.g. sex pollen, aphrodisiacs) for all characters involved in sex to already be into each other. I do not want non-con or rape play.
Contract or 24/7 BDSM or use of the word "master": Mentioning this because I have a lot of BDSM-related or adjacent likes. It wouldn't ruin my night or fic, but I'm not super into the formalized contract thing or it being the focus of a relationship/what the relationship is primarily about, and I don't want to accidentally set any traps for my author. I'm fine with and enjoy non-formalized play, with people having fun with pain, bondage, some power dynamics (e.g. Peter calling Tony "Ms. Stark" in bed, Hela insisting on being shown respect), etc.
Unrequested kink: I have a long list of smut likes for guidance, but please don't tie yourself in knots over this/worry about, "Does this count as a kink? I don't think it's a kink/think it's pretty vanilla, but what if Tuesday disagrees?" I'm going to always assume good faith here.
Underage romantic or sexual relationships: Everyone in a relationship should be 18+, please. For something like Rule 63 Peter/Tony, you can go with a) setting a fic later, b) feelings that aren't currently going to be realized, c) aging up within the setting/everything stays the same, but Peter is older, d) time travel shenanigans, e) something else I haven't thought of, but maybe you have.

I love all vids! I am good with any level of shippiness.
My preferences for favorites in vids tend toward not including audio clips from the source or added text, but I've loved a lot of things that do that and enjoyed in general a number of others, too, so that's not a no on those things, just a "if you're really trying hard to tailor, this is about the only pattern I could discern from what I've loved best in the past and even it's not any sort of hard line or real dislike." I am easy for vids is what I'm saying. I like character studies and shippiness and action and vid AUs and just--I have not met a type of vid I haven't liked.
This is your permission to do what you want so long as it doesn't include a DNW. I'm really sorry I don't have some general vid ideas for you, but I'm really, truly excited for any possibility I could get here.
Carol Danvers/Maria Rambeau:
I love the idea of them dating pre-canon. I love the idea of Carol coming back and Maria realizing she loved her all along. I love the idea of something developing post-CM where Carol comes back to Earth all the time. Any of these scenarios. I love them. They love each other. The end.
Carol Danvers/Minn-Erva:
I like both the idea of something more antagonistic/rivalmance-y and also the idea of something slowly developing wherein Minn-Erva survives canon. Basically, whatever dynamic you want to use, straightforward romance or fuckbuddies who don't actually like each other or, "You drive me crazy. I want to punch you in the mouth with my mouth," I am here for any of it.
Carol Danvers/Dr. Wendy Lawson:
I like both the idea of something set pre-canon, in which Carol has a thing with Wendy her mentor and friend, and also the idea of something in which Mar-Vell survives and something-something romance???
Nakia/Okoye:
They were so cute and fun and banter-y together during BP that I couldn't help but ship them. That car scene especially! Whether you want to set something pre-BP, during BP, or after BP (or even after IW), I am here for it. I'm good with however you want to handle canon relationships that is not cheating.
Pepper Potts/Natasha Romanov:
I am here for anything, but I especially like the idea of Pepper/Natasha happening during IM2. I'm good with whatever point you want to set it and with however you want to handle canon relationships that is not cheating.
Also, if you want to pair this with my Rule 63 request to write either a v or triangle of Pepper/Natasha/Tony, I would be super here for that, too. I'd only ask that the focus not be on Pepper/Tony, but instead shared equally or on the requested ships.

Art Likes: I like rough sketches and clean line art both, bright and dark colors to set mood, comics, scenery, single and group character poses, the cute and the creepy. It's always difficult for me to say what I like in art, because the truth is, everything. All stages, all skill levels, all types, I always like seeing what someone else comes up with.
Brunnhilde | Valkyrie/Hela:
If you really want to do something sweet, I am open to it, but what I am mainly here for is sweet, sweet antagonism. Let them headbutt each other mouth-first. You can set it at whatever point you like (something tragic and doomed pre-Valkyrie scene; something hate sex-y in some sort of canon divergence where they get the chance during Ragnarok; something where Brunnhilde drinks so much because her crush killed all her friends and got thrown in magic jail and worst of all she still dreams about having the hate sex of her life every night; something where for some reason Brunnhilde actually can visit Hela in her dreams; idk), include a break-up if you want, and go with any level of relationship vs. just here for hate sex.
Hela/Darcy Lewis:
I have this thought you do not have to follow which basically goes: what if Thor, but with Hela? Everything happens later, and Odin throws his bloodthirsty firstborn powerless to Earth. What a beautiful disaster this could be. If that doesn't appeal, I will take pretty much anything with Darcy and Hela femslash.
Hela/Natasha Romanov:
Something antagonistic? Something like above with the first Thor starring Hela that quickly goes off the rails? A canon divergent AU of some sort? Five hundred words of Natasha seducing Hela for Reasons? I'm not really sure, but I looked at these Hela ships and made helpless sounds of want.
Jane Foster/Hela:
Again, what if Thor, but Hela? Another thought: what if Dark World, but actually Hela is still slouching around, not imprisoned after all, offended that her younger brother brought this attractive human home. Obviously, she has to punish him somehow ... like by stealing his ex-girlfriend for herself. These are just thoughts: I really will take anything.

I don't care what name you give Fury, but would like to point out that whole speech about Fury being Fury even to Fury's mom, so there is an easy sidestep to the name issue.
Natasha Romanov/Tony Stark:
This can be set at any time, and I will be 100% grabby hands. Something during IM2? Something after Avengers? Something betrayed and antagonistic following CW? Something sweet set before it? Do they fall in love? Are they just convenient for each other (or do they maybe tell themselves that)? I don't know. I know only that I went from shipping it some to suddenly desperately needing it the second we changed Tony to a woman.
For names, my preference for this ship (which can be ignored!) would be to go with either Tony or Toni as a nickname of a female version of Anthony. If we go with the comic's answer of Natasha, that would get really confusing really fast for me. This is just a preference, though! Follow your heart.
Also, if you want to pair this with my Pepper/Natasha request to write either a v or triangle of Pepper/Natasha/Tony, I would be super here for that, too. I'd only ask that the focus not be on Pepper/Tony, but instead shared equally or on the requested ships.

Contract or 24/7 BDSM or use of the word "master": Mentioning this because I have a lot of BDSM-related or adjacent likes. It wouldn't ruin my night or fic, but I'm not super into the formalized contract thing or it being the focus of a relationship/what the relationship is primarily about, and I don't want to accidentally set any traps for my author. I'm fine with and enjoy non-formalized play, with people having fun with pain, bondage, some power dynamics (e.g. Peter calling Tony "Ms. Stark" in bed, Hela insisting on being shown respect), etc.
Unrequested kink: I have a long list of smut likes for guidance, but please don't tie yourself in knots over this/worry about, "Does this count as a kink? I don't think it's a kink/think it's pretty vanilla, but what if Tuesday disagrees?" I'm going to always assume good faith here.
Underage romantic or sexual relationships: Everyone in a relationship should be 18+, please. For something like Rule 63 Peter/Tony, you can go with a) setting a fic later, b) feelings that aren't currently going to be realized, c) aging up within the setting/everything stays the same, but Peter is older, d) time travel shenanigans, e) something else I haven't thought of, but maybe you have.

I am easy for vids is what I'm saying. I like character studies and shippiness and action and vid AUs and just--I have not met a type of vid I haven't liked.

I like both the idea of something more antagonistic/rivalmance-y and also the idea of something slowly developing wherein Minn-Erva survives canon. Basically, whatever dynamic you want to use, straightforward romance or fuckbuddies who don't actually like each other or, "You drive me crazy. I want to punch you in the mouth with my mouth," I am here for any of it.
Carol Danvers/Dr. Wendy Lawson:
I like both the idea of something set pre-canon, in which Carol has a thing with Wendy her mentor and friend, and also the idea of something in which Mar-Vell survives and something-something romance???

They were so cute and fun and banter-y together during BP that I couldn't help but ship them. That car scene especially! It's always difficult for me to say what I like in art, because the truth is, everything. All stages, all skill levels, all types, I always like seeing what someone else comes up with.

If you really want to do something sweet, I am open to it, but what I am mainly here for is sweet, sweet antagonism. Let them headbutt each other mouth-first. You can set it at whatever point you like (something tragic and doomed pre-Valkyrie scene; something hate sex-y in some sort of canon divergence where they get the chance during Ragnarok; something where Brunnhilde drinks so much because her crush killed all her friends and got thrown in magic jail and worst of all she still dreams about having the hate sex of her life every night; something where for some reason Brunnhilde actually can visit Hela in her dreams; idk), include a break-up if you want, and go with any level of relationship vs. just here for hate sex.
Hela/Darcy Lewis:
I have this thought you do not have to follow which basically goes: what if Thor, but with Hela? Everything happens later, and Odin throws his bloodthirsty firstborn powerless to Earth. What a beautiful disaster this could be. If that doesn't appeal, I will take pretty much anything with Darcy and Hela femslash.
Hela/Natasha Romanov:
Something antagonistic? Something like above with the first Thor starring Hela that quickly goes off the rails? A canon divergent AU of some sort? Five hundred words of Natasha seducing Hela for Reasons? I'm not really sure, but I looked at these Hela ships and made helpless sounds of want.
Jane Foster/Hela:
Again, what if Thor, but Hela? Another thought: what if Dark World, but actually Hela is still slouching around, not imprisoned after all, offended that her younger brother brought this attractive human home. Obviously, she has to punish him somehow ... like by stealing his ex-girlfriend for herself. These are just thoughts: I really will take anything.

This can be set at any time, and I will be 100% grabby hands. Something during IM2? Something after Avengers? Something betrayed and antagonistic following CW? Something sweet set before it? Do they fall in love? Are they just convenient for each other (or do they maybe tell themselves that)? I don't know. I know only that I went from shipping it some to suddenly desperately needing it the second we changed Tony to a woman.
For names, my preference for this ship (which can be ignored!) would be to go with either Tony or Toni as a nickname of a female version of Anthony. If we go with the comic's answer of Natasha, that would get really confusing really fast for me. This is just a preference, though! Follow your heart.
